Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 2026
This policy explains what this website collects and why. It is separate from your medical records. Health information created when we treat you is protected under HIPAA and covered by our Notice of Privacy Practices — not by this page. Where the two seem to disagree about health information, the Notice governs.
What We Collect
Information you give us. If you fill in a contact form, request a call back, sign up for emails or buy a gift card, we collect what you type — typically your name, email address, phone number and whatever you write in the message.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, ours records technical details when you visit: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, how long you stayed, and the site you arrived from. This is collected through cookies and similar technologies.
What we do not collect here. This website is not where your medical information lives. Booking, intake, consent and clinical records are handled in our patient system and, for head spa and beauty, in GlossGenius. Those systems have their own protections and their own terms.
Please do not send health information through a web form or by email. Neither is secure. Use the patient portal or telephone us.
How We Use It
To reply to you, to book and manage appointments, to send you information you have asked for, to understand how the website is used so we can improve it, and to meet our legal and professional obligations.
If you have opted in to marketing emails, we use your address to send them — and every one of them has an unsubscribe link that works immediately.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not trade, rent or sell it to third parties for their own marketing.
Who We Share It With
Service providers who help us run the practice — our website host, our booking and records systems, our payment processor and our email platform. They may only use the information to provide that service to us.
We also share where the law requires it, where it is necessary to protect someone's safety, or in connection with a sale or transfer of the practice.
Cookies & Analytics
Cookies are small files stored by your browser. We use them to keep the site working properly and to understand which pages people find useful.
Every browser lets you block or delete cookies in its settings. Doing so may stop parts of the site working as intended. Most browsers also offer a Do Not Track setting.
Your Choices & Rights
- UnsubscribeUse the link in any marketing email, or tell us and we will do it.
- Ask what we holdContact us and we will tell you what information we have about you.
- Correct itIf something is wrong, tell us and we will fix it.
- Ask us to delete itWe will, unless we are required to keep it — medical records in particular have retention periods set by law.
- Medical records are differentRights over your health information come from HIPAA and are set out in our Notice of Privacy Practices.
Residents of some states have additional rights over their personal information. Contact us and we will tell you what applies to you and how to exercise it.
Security, Children & Other Sites
Security. We take reasonable measures to protect information, but no website or transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. That is exactly why clinical communication belongs in the patient portal rather than in email.
Children. This website is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us and we will delete it.
Other sites. We link to our booking systems and occasionally to other resources. Once you leave this website you are covered by that site's privacy policy, not ours.
Changes. We may update this policy. The date at the top always shows when it last changed, and material changes will be flagged on this page.

This policy covers information collected through this website. Health information created or received in the course of treatment is governed separately by our Notice of Privacy Practices under HIPAA. If the two ever appear to conflict, the Notice of Privacy Practices governs health information.
