Why the Name Lexel
“I didn’t plan any of this. Before Lexel, I was a nurse practitioner working out of a 10 by 10 room inside someone else’s day spa — no backing, no team, and honestly, no big five-year plan.
A door closed for me — and I mean that literally, not as a figure of speech. Instead of standing in front of it, I got pushed through a new one. Lexel became that new door.
The name is a combination of my two daughters’ names. The two gold feathers in our logo represent them too — they’re the reason any of this mattered enough to keep going when it was just me, alone, in that small room.”

From that one room, and without any outside investment, Lexel has grown into a full practice here in Dunn. That is why the aesthetics, the wellness and the head spa sit in the same building rather than in three different ones.
