MICRONEEDLING

60 min  $325 Include
Neck & Décolleté $400

Microneedling, also known as Collagen Induction Therapy (CIT), is an advanced non-surgical skin rejuvenation technique that can reduce signs of age and minimize the appearance of numerous skin conditions. At Lexel Aesthetics & Wellness, we offer the state-of-the-art COSMOPenâ„¢ microneedling treatment, which can treat deeper layers of skin while yielding a more rapid recovery and beautiful results. With microneedling treatment, you can achieve tighter, firmer, smoother-looking skin without the need for invasive surgery.

BENEFITS OF MICRONEEDLING

The COSMOPenâ„¢ microneedling treatment can be performed on patients of all skin types. This procedure can successfully improve the appearance of:

  • Fine lines and wrinkles

  • Acne scars and other types of mild scarring

  • Pigmentation

  • Sun damage

  • Stretch marks

MICRONEEDLING PROCEDURE

The COSMOPenâ„¢ microneedling procedure involves the use of a small device about the size of a pen. The device is guided over the skin, making tiny punctures to create micro-channels, which can ultimately stimulate collagen production and new tissue to help the skin reveal a healthier, more youthful appearance. A topical anesthetic is used and be applied in the treatment area to minimize discomfort.

MICRONEEDLING WITH PRP

60 min  $550 Includes Neck & Décolleté

Benefits of Microneedling with PRP

Numerous studies prove the efficacy of microneedling alone. For certain conditions, such as acne scars, the addition of PRP to the treatment amplifies the results and speeds recovery. This is because PRP uses stem cell science to enhance healing through its high concentration of growth factors. From orthopedics to aesthetics, PRP is transforming wound healing.

When used in conjunction with microneedling, the tiny perforations created during the treatment deliver the platelet-rich plasma to the deepest layers of the skin. This stimulates the growth of new, healthy skin cells which help smooth skin and scar tissue over time.

How is PRP Obtained?

Platelet-rich plasma comes from your blood. Dr. Hether will take a small vial of your blood and place it in an automated dual spin processing system that separates the plasma.

The combination of microneedling with PRP is more effective than microneedling alone or applying PRP alone. While both effective individually, it is the combination of the two treatments that provide a vital foundation necessary for maximum absorption, reduced healing time and optimal results.

HAIR RESTORATION PRP

60 min  3 Treatments $1,800

The Procedure

Clients will have a topical numbing cream applied to the desired area for approximately 45 minutes to an hour prior to the procedure.  While the area is numbing, your blood will be drawn and the PRP will be processed. Before the procedure begins, the area is cleansed and the numbing cream is removed. Dr. Hether will perform the micro-needling portion of the procedure first to help create small tiny channels that stimulate a repair response as well as provide a passage for any leftover PRP.  After the micro-needling portion of the procedure is complete, the provider will then inject the PRP into the scalp in a grid like fashion.  Afterwards, your hair is cleansed and you can drive home without any assistance since no sedation or medication is given during the procedure. Post-treatment restrictions are minimal and are limited to at-home care.

How Many Treatments Will I Need?

We recommend that you start with a series of 3 treatments spaced out approximately 12-16 weeks apart.  PRP should not be considered a “cure." After your treatment, you may need to continue maintenance therapies quarterly or bi-annually.  PRP should also not be considered a guarantee as it is based on individual effectiveness.

Am I a Candidate for PRP?

Both men and women who are concerned with loss or thinning hair and who want to consider an alternative treatment that is aggressive but non-surgical.  With PRP, there is little to no down-time.

Can I Continue to use Other Medical Therapies With PRP?

Absolutely!  We also recommend continuing FDA approved products such as Minoxidil and DHT blockers as previously.  Think of it as cross fit training and you are using multiple modalities to get the desired results.

ANTI-WRINKLE INJECTIONS

I use neurotoxin injections (commonly known as botox) as a cosmetic treatment to reduce forehead wrinkles, crows feet, and frown lines.

Neurotoxins are purified proteins that block the transmission of nerve impulses from the muscles that are injected. This diminishes the activity of the muscles that are responsible for causing wrinkles to form.

This treatment works to treat wrinkles caused by muscle movement, rather than the loss of fat, collagen and elastin.

These injections may also potentially provide the benefit of relief from migraines, symptoms associated with TMJ (teeth/jaw clenching and grinding), as well as relief from hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating).

DERMAL FILLERS

Dermal fillers are injectables used to reduce or eliminate moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds.

These injections are used to replace soft tissue volume loss in areas such as your nasolabial folds and marionette lines. They also can be used to raise scar depressions, for lip, cheek, and chin augmentation, and jaw contouring or hand rejuvenation.

If you are looking for a gentle refreshed look, dermal fillers placed with precision can give you instantly breathtaking, natural-looking results.
